Due to a high number of reprint submissions, some confusion by writers and the significantly higher amount of horror submissions, we have amended our submission guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with them before submitting. Lack of proper formatting and the submission of unsuitable and/or inappropriate material will be reason for automatic rejection in future. The submissions page contains all the information you need to format your manuscript.
Despite the number of submissions and the website overhauls, Peter has managed to get through a significant amount of the short stories that were submitted during September. We didn't expect such a response and we are grateful to everyone who has submitted their artwork and fiction for consideration. We have had to turn down a few of the submissions for inappropriate content, but it is our policy never to turn down a story unless we really have to. Peter has worked really hard to ensure that stories that weren't quite up to par got as much constructive criticism as possible and is happy to re-consider your work in future. Congratulations to those of you who were successful. We will be updating the issue page with your details in the near future.
If you are thinking of writing a short story in the science-fiction, fantasy or horror genre then you should check out our articles page. We have managed to convince writers Philip Meredith and Glen Kohler to share their methods and give up a few secrets for aspiring genre writers.
Welcome to the new home of the Fever Dreams E-zine. The overhaul is now complete and we are happy to say that there are no plans for future overhauls at this time. We have all put in a lot of hard work to ensure that the site gets the big thumbs up. Thankyou to Cambion for his tireless work on the graphics, Al for his work on the movies (we apologise to our horror fans who lost out this week because his area of the site was down), Peter for his tireless nagging and pointing out flaws (we love you really) and Matt for whatever it was he did... Anyway we hope you all like the new look site and thank you for your patience.
